Wet weather warnings continue with more heavy rain on Tuesday

The period of wet weather that started on Friday on the Costa del Sol is set to continue until Thursday this week.
Aemet, the Spanish met office, issued a new yellow weather warning for Tuesday when heavy rain and storms are expected in the province of Malaga.
On Friday downpours brought the highest rainfall readings in the province of Malaga in recent months. Coín registered the most rainfall, with 93 litres per square metre in just six hours, a figure that amounts to 20% of the average rainfall in the area for the whole year.
Heavy showers also hit the area on Monday morning, with 13.6 litres of rainfall per square metre measured in Fuengirola.
