Malaga Airport has reinforced its special assistance services throughout terminals 2 and 3, and in the exterior of the airport including the car parks.
Additional services include a 24-hour assistance post between terminals 2 and 3, and extra seating in waiting areas. The airport now has 18 posts where staff meet and accompany passengers with limited mobility.
The reinforcements, to meet increasing demand for the service, have been introduced as part of the Quality Plan brought into place by the airport authorities last year.
Last year, the airport provided assistance to 107,898 people with limited mobility, with the highest demand in May, September and October. Since the service was implemented in 2008, almost 800,000 passengers have used it.source surinenglish
