One can access the bathing area at Es Pujador des Frares and Es Pas des Vero. Over the centuries these roads, now tarmacked, were the access to the coast for fishermen, pirates and, above all, smugglers. These cliffs were also used for extracting the local sandstone which has soft golden or pink hues, a constant in the Majorcan landscape and were used for the construction of Palma Cathedral (Ses Pedreres de la Seu).
