Gibraltar’s newest tourist attraction is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but more intrepid residents and visitors can barely wait for the new suspension bridge at Royal Anglian Way to open later this month.
This spectacular feat of engineering is part of the refurbishment project for the Upper Rock and is 71 metres in length, across a 50-metre-deep gorge.
As Tourism Minister Samantha Sacramento says, this new suspension bridge has “a wow factor” and will strengthen Gibraltar’s position as a tourist destination.source surinenglish
